Biographie
As graduate of the ESAG Penninghen art school in Paris, I began my career in the audiovisual industry as a screen director and graphic designer. Over time, I felt drawn away from the digital realm, seeking a return to practices that resonated with my earliest artistic explorations.
My rediscovery of oil painting happened during nude sketching sessions at the Beaux-Arts in Paris. To deepen this newfound passion, I studied ancient techniques under Patrice de Pracontal.
Since then, copying old masterworks has transformed my perspective. Each brushstroke and gesture brings me closer to the essence of the art, fostering a profound connection with the painting. This process becomes a journey—an exploration of how a painting comes to life through light and material, engaging in an ever-evolving dialogue between past and present.
